Co-Products
Throughout our process, production planning, scanning and optimization technology is employed in order to maximize the sawn timber content or yield of each log. Along side our sawn timber range, we also produce a number of Co-products from the sawmilling process. These products provide the raw material to a number of timber related industries thus ensuring zero waste from the timber process
Woodchip & Sawdust are sold for use in the manufacture of Chipboard, Medium Density Fibre (MDF) and Doorskins. These are subsequently marketed and sold throughout European & American markets.
Woodchip & Sawdust are also used in CHP, Biomass and the production of wood pellets
Sawdust is also used in our low pressure woodwaste boiler providing a renewable energy source for heating our Kiln Drying Process.
Bark is sold to a local company CNM Teo where it is mulched and used for landscaping and gardening projects. Please click on the link below for more information.
